OSHC
Somers Primary School operates a quality Before and After School Care program, providing families with the support to have children cared for from 7:00am until 8:45am, and 3:30pm – 6:00pm.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply contact our school office to request an enrollment in our service for your child. Children can have permanent or casual bookings. Parents and carers drop their children at our service in the morning, and we ensure that your child has a positive start to the day and gets to class ready to learn before 9:00.
After school, children come directly from their class, enjoy an afternoon snack and engage in fun activities until parents collect them in the evening.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
- regular trained staff that know and care for all children
- nutritional breakfast or afternoon snacks
- learning and development outcomes in line with the ‘My Time, Our Place’ framework
- fun activities
- a caring and safe environment
COST INVOLVED
Fees for OSHC are heavily subsidised by the Child Care Benefit system, which is means tested. For most families there is minimal out-of-pocket expense.
AVAILABILITY
We are currently accepting enrolments and welcoming new children and their families to our service.
